It all started at the age of 10 with a pair of knitting needles.
In 2013 I left the corporate world, moved to Yamba and launched my fibre art business.
I've spent the last 8 years experimenting with fibres, fabrics, raw materials through commissioned artworks, teaching workshops and research. Classic Margarita slings are constructed with these learnings, including the custom made macrame straps designed by yours truly.
In 2016, during a surf trip in Mexico, after enduring a 3km trek with a mal on my head and no hands free to slap away the mosquito's, I sat in my Sayulita hostel, with a 1L street purchased Classic Margarita in hand and sketched the surfboard sling.
In 2017 I moved to the Gold Coast to open Mo's Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh Heads, and here, in the walls of this warehouse is where you will find me creating everyday.
